Biography
Andrew Bowater joined Huawei in 2013 bringing his strong connections to the New Zealand telecommunications industry along with broad political and public affairs experience.
Before joining Huawei, Andrew spent five years at New Zealand’s largest listed company, Telecom New Zealand, leading its Government and Community relations function with responsibility for its stakeholder engagement and corporate social responsibility programmes.
Andrew specialises in corporate relations and strategic communications with a strong focus on Government relations, having worked in Parliament for then Prime Minister Helen Clark for five years and the Australian High Commission in Wellington.
