The next United States New Zealand Pacific Partnership Forum promises to be a “truly global dialogue, focused on ‘defining what’s next’ for the NZ-US relationship in a pivotal year for the region.“
US NZ Council CEO and president Bill Maroni says 2013 will be a year of change and increasing focus on the Asia Pacific region. “Countries and companies will compete to discover, define and deliver the next opportunities” says Maroni. He promises the forum will include “innovative presentations, off-the-record discussions, once-in-a-lifetime networking opportunities and tangible expressions of “what’s next”.
“We want the forum to focus on where New Zealand and the US are leaders and partners and we want to showcase those stories.” says Maroni. He also wants to engage a broader range of “thought-leaders” at the May event.
The event will be held in Washington DC from 19-21 May, 2013 and will feature an innovative new, business-centric focus to balance the already strong public policy component.
The forum will be the fifth time members and friends of the two councils along with representatives of the US and New Zealand governments, private sectors and broader community meet.
The Partnership Forum will be held at the Washington Hyatt Grand Hotel, one of the premiere venues in the heart of the nation’s capital. Reinforcing the two organisations’ commitment to a global dialogue, the forum is open to all interested guests, although space is limited.
