‘Show us the Evidence’, Kim Dotcom revving up for Moment of Truth.

Internet entrepreneur Kim Dotcom presented no evidence to back his claim the Prime Minister was at the centre of a Hollywood plot to have him extradited to the United States to face charges.

As I wrote on the New Zealand Herald website last night  “If Kim Dotcom thinks his Moment of Truth will affect the outcome of Saturday’s election, he is seriously deluded. N0 killer punches landed on John Key. No conclusive evidence was revealed proving Key knew about Dotcom well in advance of the Coatesville raid.

Today the denials are coming fast over Edward Snowden’s claim that the US National Security Agency (NSA) has two separate installations in NZ – one of them in Auckland. Former GCSB director Bruce Ferguson – who is hardly a bosom friend of the National Government – dismissed Snowden’s claim.   http://tvnz.co.nz/national-news/there-no-nsa-spy-bases-in-nz-gcsb-boss-6081819

Sources with close links to the intelligence community also confirmed to newzealandinc.com there is no NSA presence in Auckland.  The US Consulate is swept by the NSA (so too, NZ’s own embassies by the GCSB). The agency does second personnel to NZ to work with the GCSB. Similarly, the GCSB seconds people to the Australian Signals Directorate,  Britain’s Government Communications Headquarters and the Canada’s Communications Security Establishment.

We’ll be following this story further in the countdown to the election.
