Biography
Graeme Harrison is the Founder and Chairman of ANZCO Foods Ltd, a New Zealand based multinational company and one of New Zealand’s leading exporters. ANZCO Foods employs 3,000 people, with 11 production sites in New Zealand and a network of sales and marketing offices in Japan, Taiwan, North America, United Kingdom, Belgium, Australia and New Zealand.

ANZCO Foods commenced life as a sheep-meat sales and marketing business in Japan, being the first foreign-owned company of scale to physically import, process and distribute the bulk of product it supplied that market. Later ANZCO transformed itself into what has become New Zealand’s second largest beef company, assisted in the process by two major Japanese food company investors.

From a Mid-Canterbury farming background, Graeme spent 13 years of his business career offshore and has held a number of directorships outside the ANZCO Group, including Westland Milk Products and Sealord. His tertiary education was at the University of Canterbury, Manchester Business School and he has a MA(Hons) and D.Com from Lincoln University.

He is Chairman of the New Zealand International Business Forum, a Board member of the New Zealand-China Council, winner of the 2010 Federated Farmers Agribusiness Person of the Year and was made a KNZM in 2011. He also serves on the Council of Lincoln University.
